Cleaner

**Scope of job: **

The scope of this role is to ensure that the cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant is always maintained to the highest levels as per standards of operating procedures.

Main responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

· Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

· Monitor and manage inventory of dishwashing supplies, notifying management of any shortages or replenishment needs.

· Collect and remove trash from kitchen areas, ensuring proper disposal and adherence to waste management procedures.

· Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors on a regular basis to maintain hygiene standards.

· Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.

· Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of operations during busy periods.

· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall success of the restaurant.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Knowledge

· Knowledge of Greek or English language

· Good organizational skills

· Good knowledge of cleaning products and uses
