Hostess

Scope of Job

As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and present a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards.

MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES

· Welcoming and greeting visitors and guests upon their arrival and departure

· Escorting and seating customers to the dining and bar areas

· Engaging with guests to ensure they are happy with service

· Providing excellent customer service

· Managing the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas

· Providing accurate waiting times and monitoring waiting lists

· Maintaining a clean and organized reception area

· Answering guests and visitors’ enquiries in a professional manner

· Tend to special guest needs and requests

· Ensuring HACCP and health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained

· Attend job specific training

· Attend team communication meetings

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Skills

· Fluent in Greek and English is a must

· Excellent phone etiquette and restaurant/ bar etiquette

· Strong planning and organizational skills

· Exceptional customer service and communication skills

· Ability to work in shifts as needed

· Warm, engaging and professional

· Confident and well presented

· Work under pressure and able to multitask

· Attention to detail

Level of Experience

· Experience working as a Host/Hostess or Receptionist

· High school diploma and/or hospitality certification
