What we're looking for
The Assistant Catering Officer at CITO is a flexible and dynamic role responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of large-scale food orders for catering, ensuring seamless operations from the central kitchen to various distribution points.
This role involves supporting inventory management for catering supplies, conducting quality checks on prepared food and platters to ensure presentation and adherence to standards before dispatch, and coordinating closely with kitchen staff and drivers to guarantee timely delivery.
Crucially, the Officer is required to be present at catered events to ensure the smooth, efficient operation and execution of the service on-site.
A strong focus on efficient logistics, strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and effective communication are essential for maintaining the high-quality catering service CITO provides.
